7431 Sand Lake Commons Boulevard, Bay 4 — Orlando, FL Outdoor grass tee & indoor bay — open seven days, Wednesdays reserved for builds
Groove Fit Lab Orlando, Florida · Fitting since 2015

Four People, One Bench

Nobody here is a greeter. Everyone listed below runs sessions, builds clubs, or both, and you will be told at booking who has your appointment.

Reid Halloran

Co-owner · Long game fitting

Reid spent eleven years on repair and assembly benches around Central Florida before we opened the unit, which means he has taken apart more badly built clubs than anyone should have to. He handles most driver and fairway wood sessions and is the person who insisted the outdoor tee line come before the launch monitor.

His running argument with clients is about attack angle. He will spend twenty minutes showing you that adding loft to your driver is pointless until the low point moves, and he is usually right.

  • At a bench since 2004
  • Plays to a 3, sometimes a 5 in August
  • Builds Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Priya Nadkarni

Co-owner · Irons and gapping

Priya came out of engineering and arrived at club fitting through the least romantic possible route: she got annoyed that nobody could explain why two 7-irons stamped with the same loft flew eleven yards apart. She now runs the iron and hybrid side of the studio and keeps the gapping spreadsheets that everyone else here quietly relies on.

If your set has a hole between the 5-iron and the 5-wood, Priya is the one who will find it and tell you exactly how many yards wide it is.

  • Fitting full time since 2013
  • Plays to an 8
  • Handles all junior and re-length work

Marcus Ojeda

Short game & putter fitting

Marcus ran a public-course short game programme in Kissimmee for six years and joined us because he wanted to spend more time on the bounce and grind side of things. He fits every wedge and putter session, and he is the reason the practice green out back has three different shim positions built into it.

He will ask you more questions about your home course bunkers than about your handicap, because sand consistency changes the correct bounce more than skill level does.

  • Coaching and fitting since 2016
  • Plays to a 1
  • Runs Saturday morning sessions

Dana Kwiatkowski

Build room lead

Dana assembles nearly everything that leaves the shop. She joined in 2019 from an OEM tour department and brought with her a level of fussiness about ferrule seating and epoxy cure times that the rest of us have simply learned to accept.

She is also the person who re-measures every finished club the morning it goes out, which is how we catch the one set in twenty where a head arrived from the factory a degree off its stamp.

  • Building since 2011
  • Does not play, does not pretend to
  • Handles all warranty and repair intake

You Can Request a Fitter

If someone here has worked on your bag before, ask for them by name when you book and we will do our best. Marcus only takes short game and putter appointments, and Dana does not run fittings at all, so those two are the practical limits.
